From Hometown to Egypt

This is my journey, journey of life. Journey that taught me a lot of thing.

Hamdulillah. Allah gives me this chance to write again after a long break

Hamdulillah. Allah gives me a chance to see his world, to see how He creates this world beautifully.

Hamdulillah. My university gives me 8 months of break from hectic studies.

Hamdulillah. I have a parents that understand my passion.

Middle of January 2017.
My journey began. Almost 8000 KM far from my hometown.

6.30 a.m : My first flight of my journey to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) by MAS Airlines.
9.30 a.m : I already sat at the lounge waiting for the cabin crew to call my number.
10.00 a.m : Emirates Airline ready to fly to Dubai, UAE. 7 hours of flight absolutely tiring.

Lunch in Emirates Airline economy class

Noon of Dubai. I reached at departure hall of Dubai International Airport and waiting for the taxi. Actually, in my plan, I want to go to my auntie's house but her house is an hour of driving so, I decided to get a round in Dubai town. Seeing Burj Khalifa in front of my eyes is like a dream. Dubai, a town full of skyscraper buildings but less trees. A lot of expensive car pass by, a lot of beautiful girls taking photo, nice view of Burj Khalifa and its surrounding. I bet that if you come to this country, your heart and legs resist to leave it. Dubai is getting dark, and my journey almost at the end. The taxi driver send me back to the airport and I continue my journey to Alexandria, Egypt.

4.00 p.m in Dubai City
Take as many picture in the car

Once I touched down in Alexandria, all people were sailing on their dream ship. No fear but happy feeling because this is my second time travelling there. 8 degrees of temperature make me feel a bit uncomfortable.

12.50 a.m : I saw my sister waving her hands to me. We meet again after a few months.
2.00 a.m : Safely arrived at my sister's house. She served me a plate of spaghetti bolognaise and chicken rice.
3.00 a.m : Going to bed

Actually, my sister is on her exam week, so, she decided to send me away to Matrouh, Siwa and Cairo for some visits there. I went there without knowing anyone and Hamdulillah I got new friends to talk with, we become friends till now and still contacting each other. I went to Cairo by train with my two new friends. I easily got dizzy if I sit in the train for too long without doing nothing, so, in order to prevent from feeling the dizziness, I sleep along the way to Cairo.

Railway Station, Cairo

11.00 p.m : We arrived at Ramsis Railway Station, Cairo
12.00 a.m : A bus waiting for us in front of Suq Sayarat.
12.30 a.m : Depart to Matrouh, Egypt

Morning of 6 degrees at Matrouh caused smoke come out from our mouth due to different temperature between inside and outside of our body.

Arrived at Ageeba Beach of Mediteranean Sea, Matrouh

Travelling and Volunteering

Second post of year 2017. Not writing for a long time is just like, you're having fever but nobody give you paracetamol tablet.

My biggest passions are travelling and volunteering. Where I got this passion? From whom I inherited this passion? All above were my parents that try hard to instill these two passion in myself and siblings. They also love to travel so much. I looked back my parents' album photo during their youth, a lot of places they visited. I close the album and take my childhood album, uncountable pictures took by my parents in different background, different weather, different posing and different places. That's how I got those passions. So, the person that always encourage me and my siblings to travel a lot as we are youth that have lot of energy is my beloved parents.

Nine months of semester break absolutely its a very long break. So, my parents decided to send me out and travel by myself. Its was unimaginable travel for me because its was my first travel without my parents. I will enjoy the holiday trip!

First menu in Emirates Airlines

The preparation was out of blue. I have very limited time to done my visas, to buy my flight tickets, to pack my clothes, shoes, foods and so on. Additionally, I'm sitting for my final semester exam. But, Hamdulillah God ease all my works.

Ramsis Railway Station, Cairo

' Why do I like travelling so much? '

' Am I from rich family, that's why I travel to many places? '

' Travel just wasted our money '

' What's about volunteering? '

' Both your passions show that you have a lot of money '

' Volunteer also using our money right? '

I'm not from rich family. My family have no any business, my parents only work in government sector, I have six siblings that currently studying and three from us studying in private school, my parents are taxes payer. In conclusion, I'm not come from wealthy family, but, Praise to Allah, He suffices everything, we have enough foods, we never hunger, we still can travel, we still can be a volunteer. But how can me and family travel so much? The answer is very easy and everyone knew it but hard to do. Be grateful on what we have today, if today was your worst day ever, be grateful on that, if today was your happiest day ever, be grateful on that. Be grateful on what we today without comparing with others.

Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, Bandar Seri Begawan

Or you can share your gratitude with others as me and my family did. Volunteering is one way we express our gratitude and share with others. Volunteer is just not you go to old folks welfare home and feed them or go to hospital, meet with cancer patients and make them happy, but volunteer works have bigger scope than that. Volunteer works can be just near you. Volunteer work that me and my family always done to express and share our gratitude and sustenance is helping the school cleaners. During weekend, we spend our morning at school and help the cleaners clean the school. They have to work six days per week but their salary are not showing their actual works. We stop at noon and lunch together with the food that cooked by my mother.

Sunset in Brunei

Your expression of gratitude (share what you have with others) shows that you are grateful on what you have today either its bad or good. What you give is what you get back. You feel very grateful on what you have then you share with other and God will suffices everything in your life. I'm not come from rich family but why I can travel to many countries? Its all about you and yourself inside and outside, grateful on what you have and always share your sustenance with others, God will suffices all for you.

"Why do I like travelling so much?"

Yourself when you are travelling is just like water at the waterfall that always flow, clean and clear that could be drink by people. The bigger steps you take, the more things you learn. The bigger steps you take, the more experiences you get. The bigger steps you take, the more you know how world works. The bigger steps you take, the more you see how beautiful God design this world for you to explore. Travelling does not necessarily out of your country, it's enough to travel inside your country, there is a lot of  your country's treasure which has not been explored.

Bradarr and Sistahh

My first entry for 2017, I would like to wish all of you, Happy New Year, may this year will be better than last year.

In the name of Allah the most Precious and the most Merciful

May 2016
A new commitment started. I can't imagine what kind of commitment I should serve, what kind of help I can give. And also a new group of people that claimed they as my family which is I never know who they are and what kind of people they are. But, I'm pretty sure that they have same niat with me and we will work together as FAMILY and live forever as FAMILY because we had promise to be a FAMILY.

[Surat Aal-E-Imran 104]
"Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity".
Ohana

First event we done together was RON, that event was held far from bustle of the city during month of Ramadan. Its very challenging to hear too many talk during fasting month, and its really testing my imaan . There is river inside the camp site, the boys really enjoy it while the girls keep nagging when we can do that kind of activity. A lot of activities had been done, and from that, I get to know some of my family members, even I don,t know who they are but I try my best to memorize their face and their name.

I have no position in this club's organization, so, I do not busy as Izyani. Sometimes she back from meeting at 1 a.m, and as she reached the room, she still have work to do, then open the laptop and do something on the laptop while I'm sleeping. Yahh, its not easy to be on this way, you have to sacrifice a lot, either your time or your energy or your money but not your studies. Studies must come first. Izyani still completed her homework, but sometime she copies the answer from me or other friends. Nadiah also busy like Izyani, and I left alone in the room with animals.

Meeting sampai mata lebam

[Surat At-Tawbah 111]
"Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment".

Nadiah. Izyani. Izzatti. Me. (Buddy takkan terpisah)

All of us already understand a lot of things and this is the right time for us to spread our knowledge to others. We had some camp for our juniors. For me its a fun camp, I get to know the rest of my family members that I never see and never know. Other than that, in order to survive, we need to cook by our own, we buy some groceries, its remind me to the old days, I used to play 'masak-masak' during childhood. The cooking team do their best to cook for all of us. Besides,  I want to tell you that, during that camp, it was my first time driving a car in KL, quite nervous, the road full of cars and always jammed, some cars give warning to other car, some car do not follow the rules but I learned something from this situation, in life, there is a lot of responsibility but its depend on us how to manage it and how to solve it. I really enjoy to drive here and I love it.

Spread the Islam to other. Street Dakwah.

This, the climax event for us. We must train our junior to become like us and absolutely better than us. This event was held far from KL, I never thought that I could drive half an hour to go there. As I mentioned before, I love to drive so, I was the person in charge to drive the car and take care all about transportation with my annoyed partner, Miqdam and the cutie one, Syakirah.

The committees

The place was really nice, there is a river, hanging bridge that really fun to walk, a lot of green tree and the most priceless things are memory and experience. As we reached there, raining cats and dogs, my bag and hijab were really wet, when I hang it on the hanger, the water dripping from my hijab. That night, I did something on someone's car. The mirror of that car was broken, because a stone hit us from the front, its really surprising me because I was the driver at that time. I seek forgiveness from the owner of the car, but he keep mentioned about what I did to his car.

The broken mirror.

Moreover, the size of the room is too small for us , until we have to take turn to sleep, me and Syakirah were the person who do not sleep after 2 a.m to give other family members that have much work than us to sleep. We went to kitchen to join cooking team doing their chores but in the same time, look around for the food. Haha. We ate rice with soy sauce at 3 a.m with Fazreen. Then, after performing subooh, I sleep in the junior's room, because I have to take some energy to drive half an hour that morning.

The next night, while I walking to get some fresh air with Dalili as I cant sleep that night, I saw a brother that sleep in front of the stairs at the door, see, he is too sleepy and have no energy to walk in, then he fall down at the front door and continue to sleep. Kahkah. The most critical part is when we have to start our meeting at 1 a.m. Can u imagine how the meeting it is. Meeting with that sleepy face.

That brother that sleep in front of the door.

A lot of things we go through together along 3 days. We sleep just for 2 hours and less, end up, all family members' face look really sleepy and pale. The boys play together in the river. The cooking team have to cook for 100 person. The core team have to hold meeting frequently. All of us have our own responsible to make this event successful.

Our official menu.

Buy some groceries

Boys having their 'project'

Then, this is the second series of our event. Not much participant. But the homestay is much better than before. I was the person that cant sleep at the new place so that night I do not sleep and the next day I have to drive the car all day until late evening. Its really tired. And that night, I was the earliest person to sleep but wake up at 11 p.m. then having a meeting about tomorrow's flow, after meeting, playing game with cooking team and lastly eat maggi that made by ChefAtah together.

Eat instant noodle at 1 a.m
Our chef

The second series event is same as the first. A lot of thing we need to do. The core team still having meeting frequently,  we still sleep for 2 hours or less, and we still together to support each other.

Lastly, we having hiking together. Its tiring but its fun. I can see them for the last time, I can take picture together with them and I can create a beautiful memory together.

Dear brother and sister,

You guys always coloring my day, make me smile and the most important is you guys had create a memory together with me to be keep and maybe one day, we will remember about this day. Thanks for always supporting me, thanks for always walk besides me and thanks for all memories. May our efforts are not in vain and even our effort not be seen by people of the earth but valuable to the people of heavens.

I just hope that we will stay on this road until the end and support each other. We all know that this road is full of thorns, fire, stones but I believe that we can do it.

I miss her

20 October 2016
Its already 5 months you leave us

When you decided to get further treatment at Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru and stop being treated at University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), I miss a chance to meet you due to end of semester examination. The last time I see your face and hold your hand, when you were admitted in emergency room. I gave you a bottle of water and a bread also your phone to ease you to contact us.

4th May 2016

You were too weak, Nadiah and Izyani tried very hard to help you to go to the class for exam, three of you late 15 minutes while me, late for 10 minutes. After exam, we decided to go to IIUM Clinic to get a permission letter for you to sit for exam only in the clinic. Dr. Hamid noticed that you look more thinner than the passport picture that you stamped on your medical record and your face looked very pale. Then, Dr. Hamid decided to send you to UMMC to get better and accurate treatment there. Four of us went to UMMC by ambulance. I pushed your wheelchair and safely entered emergency room.

The day of tomorrow we have two papers to go yet, we did not bring any books to hospital. We take turns wait in emergency waiting room. After wait for so long, we went to food court searching for food, went to musolla to pray and get some rest while waiting for you. Dalili and Afi kept contact us and asked either you were okay or not. Even, they lost appetite to eat also lost focus to study because they were too worried about you and us. After 3 hours of waiting, the doctor called for Zafirah Haziqah's guardian and I entered the emergency room. I saw you. Both of your hand has a tool that hospital used to enter water or blood or medicine into blood vessels. I also saw your blood flow. It make me sad, but, I have to be strong in order to make you strong.

12 a.m., our fellow took us from hospital. As we reached at our room, Dalili and Afi waited for us loyally and I saw food that we ordered that evening were untouched. Thanks to Auni, she sent a lot drinks and foods to us, she really understands us. We ate together and then study for next paper. We slept at 4 a.m. and woke at 6 a.m.. Can you imagine how sleepy I have to go through that day. Back from exam, Auni told us that you had going back to Johor.

20th May 2016

" Anis, get ready, we will visit Zaf and her family after Ayah back from mosque " mama said

While I'm getting ready, I got a call from Zaf. Exciting.

" Salam, kak, this is Piqa " Zaf lil sister calling me
" Oh Piqa, why you call me suddenly? "
" When you want to come here? " she asked me
" I'm getting ready to go to your house "
" Kak, pray to Allah that Angah will be okay, hmm? " she cried

After Dad back from mosque, we went to Kulai first to fetch Nadiah and take her with me visit Zaf. On my way to her house, I got another called from Piqa, she told us that Zaf had passed away just now. My heart beats very fast. Tears flow from my eyes. I feel very cold. I late for an hour. As me and Nadiah reached at your house, I heard voices of people recite yassin. I walked slowly, I saw many people cry, as I entered living room, I saw a body covered by kain batik. I still can't believe this. I sat beside you and open the kain batik and cried. I kiss your cheek. I still can't believe. Praise to Allah, I got to pray for you and I got to see you were buried from far.

May you belong to the Mu'minin, Solihin, Muslimin

Tawakkal and Dua'

Calculation. It's a favorite thing to do by father but its totally mess for me. I never get along well with calculation, I don't why but I think that my chromosome would excited more to take gene from mom. This same goes to my sis n lil bro, they also like facts more than calculation. We're sorry dad that we like bio more than math or add math. I would like to  share to you my story with math.
.
Last semester, I took Math 1, and I know its a big challenge for me. The lecturer that taught me that subject is really an understanding person, she was so nice, she taught us like she teaches her child to walk. She taught us will full of love and sincere. She never fed up on us, her name was Madam Izan. But, it still hard for me to fall in love with calculation. Every time we sit for the quizes, I'm one of those who got lowest mark, it can be seen when my friend, Yani, she got 23-25/30, while me? The highest mark I ever got was 19/30. Its a big gap. As the carry mark form had released, under my estimation, I was in bottom 10. Then, from that, I got consultation session from Madam Izan personally, we were having face-to-face relationship as student and lecturer. She also had an extra class many time for me before the day of final exam. While my friends still sleeping, I need to go to extra classes. At the deepest of my heart, I envy to them, they didn't need to attend to the class in study week period. They can just study at room or library. Madam Izan keep calling my name to solve the question problems at the front.
.
This situation reminded me to the high school memory. A month before SPM, my add math teachers held an extra class at school hall. Suddenly, my add math teacher, Cikgu Ghozi called me at the back to come to him. Then, he told me to bring along my papers, books and pencils. While I'm taking my tools, he pulled a desk and a chair beside him, he asked me to sit and he told me to ask him as many questions as I wanted. My other friends were sitting on their sit in row and heard to the other teacher lecture at front. During break time, my friends went to dining hall and I'm still learning, after the one hour break time, my friends came back from hostel and I'm still sitting with Cikgu Ghozi. 30 minutes after actual break time, I just got my break time for 30 minutes. I went to hostel to pray and took my bread at my room, eating while walking. After that, continue study with Cikgu Ghozi.
.
Indeed , we 've tried hard , but we also need to place a greater reliance on Allah. Although we had the lowest carry mark ,the hardest final exam ever but if we put everything to Allah, praying and pleading , in sha Allah , Allah will help us . ME, if all of you have a look to my examination marks, I have to repeat my subject but trust me, no other greater help other than from Allah. Just make dua and shalat hajat, Allah is hearing to His slave. Praise to Allah, I passed the exam with flying colors.

Its Okay To be Late

Its time for all Muslim to celebrate Eid with their family. For those who studies abroad, just get some experiences to celebrate it with your friends with different culture. For me, this year Eid holiday is too short and I need more. The long journey to hometown is not tired and long as usual as the increases adrenaline hormone in my body. When me arrived at hometown, my aunts and uncles will ask a lot of questions, yah u know, Melayu people are like that.
' how was your studies '
' how was your work '
' when do you get married '

Me? Absolutely will not run from been asked by them. The usual questions for me as I'm still a student
' where are you study right now? '

The answer of me
' foundation of sciences '

The most reaction they will react
' you're 20 right, what are you doing in foundation? '
' did you repeat semester? '
' how can be you still in foundation? '

Have you heard about 86 years-old-grandfather just graduate from his degree? Have you read newspaper about a 65 years-old-grandmother just finishing her degree? And a lot of stories around the world.

I'm one of the person in the same case. Of course there is one time you think that graduate from degree at the age of 25 is too late. Yes, I'm 20 and I admit that I'm a little bit late from my other friends. My other same age friends just finishing their first year of degree and me? What am I doing in foundation?

Its okay to be late as long as you still have the spirit of studying. Because with study, you can change the world. Knowledge of Allah never care about how old are you or how far did you study or how long did you study because it's too wide until a person or someone can't bear the whole world knowledge.

Just be in your way, just walk on your road, just run on your journey. Don't let yourself down because of other people expectation. Don't think that we are late instead we just walk the way peacefully so that there is no jammed.

This writing specially dedicated to all BroBear and SisBear. May Allah Bless of Us.

Tapi sungguh Allah Maha Adil, mereka sungguh membantu ibu bapa mereka.

PERISTIWA 2
Hawa. Secantik nama, matanya bulat, kulitnya putih gebu, mukanya 'baby face'.

PERISTIWA 3
Hidungnya mancung, matanya coklat, kulitnya putih, tinggi lampai.

Wahai anak istinewa! Sewaktu kalian kecil ibu bapamu sudah berpenat lelah membanting tulang menjagamu di dunia, moga diakhirat sana syurga buat ibu bapamu.

Wahai anak sempurna! Dimanakah kalian? Adakah kalian masih dibuai kesenangan dunia sehingga kalian lalai?
